Super Green Tahini + Apple Smoothie
This super nutritious green smoothie has been my recent go-to smoothie in the mornings. The richness of the tahini is perfectly balanced by the refreshing apple. It is backed with fiber from the spinach and extra creamy (and nutrient dense) from the cauliflower. I love adding hemp seeds, chia seeds, fresh chopped apple, granola, or kasha on top!
Super Green Tahini + Apple Smoothie
(makes 1 serving)
1 frozen banana
1/2 apple, roughly cubed (I used honeycrisp)
1 big handful spinach
1 inch ginger, grated (optional)
1 tbsp of tahini
1 tbsp hemp seeds
1 tbsp flax meal
1 tsp maca
dash of cinnamon
4-6 ice cubes
Oatmilk or other non-dairy milk
...blend and add more ice, almond milk or water until you reach your desired consistency.
*I’ve been topping mine with the other half of the chopped apple, hemp seeds, granola and chia seeds.
